The Prophet’s Reward is the blessing Jesus promised to anyone who receives a prophet because he is a prophet.
In the same saying He promised a righteous person’s reward to the one who receives a righteous person,
and He said that even a cup of cold water given to a little one in the name of a disciple will not lose its reward.
The point is not that the giver earns salvation, but that God notices and honors those who welcome His servants for His sake.
