The Blood of the Lamb is the blood of Jesus Christ, shed on the cross for the forgiveness of sins.
By this blood the saints overcome the accuser, wash their robes white, and enter the holy places with confidence.
The Passover lamb pointed forward to this blood. The songs of heaven look back to it.
There is no other covering, no other ransom, and no other way into the presence of God.
- On the night of the first Passover the Lord said, “When I see the blood, I will pass over you.”

The way into the holy places is opened by that blood. When I see the blood, I will pass over you. That word is fulfilled in Jesus. Trust His blood. Stand in His blood. Overcome by His blood. Do not look for another covering. The Lamb who was slain is worthy, and those who wash their robes in His blood have the right to the tree of life. Draw near with confidence. The blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.
