The Bowl Judgments (also called the Vial Judgments) are the seven final, complete outpourings of God’s wrath described in Revelation 15–16.
They follow the trumpet judgments and are poured out by seven angels upon the earth, the sea, the rivers, the sun, the throne of the beast, the Euphrates, and the air.
Unlike the partial (one-third) judgments of the trumpets, these bowls are total and irreversible, finishing the wrath of God.
They prepare the way for the return of Christ and the final defeat of the beast, the false prophet, and the forces of darkness.
After the seventh trumpet has sounded and the mystery of God is fulfilled, John sees another great and marvelous sign in heaven: seven angels with the seven last plagues, for in them the wrath of God is finished. The temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven is opened, and the seven angels come out clothed in pure, bright linen, with golden sashes. One of the four living creatures gives them seven golden bowls full of the wrath of God. The temple is filled with smoke from the glory of God and from His power, and no one can enter until the seven plagues are completed. As each angel pours out his bowl, a specific judgment falls upon the earth-dwellers who have the mark of the beast and worship his image. These judgments are complete, righteous, and final. They demonstrate that God is just in His wrath, that the blood of the saints and prophets is avenged, and that the kingdom of the beast is utterly overthrown. The seventh bowl brings the declaration “It is done,” accompanied by lightning, thunder, a great earthquake, and the fall of the cities of the nations, preparing the stage for the final battle and the return of the King of kings.

- Sixth Bowl – The great river Euphrates is dried up to prepare the way for the kings from the east; three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouths of the dragon, the beast, and the false prophet to gather the kings of the whole world for battle at Armageddon.
- Seventh Bowl – The bowl is poured into the air; a loud voice from the throne says, “It is done!” There are flashes of lightning, rumblings, thunder, a great earthquake, the cities of the nations fall, and great hailstones fall from heaven.

- Revelation 16:12-16 – Sixth bowl: “The sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up, to prepare the way for the kings from the east… And I saw… three unclean spirits like frogs… coming out of the mouth of the dragon and out of the mouth of the beast and out of the mouth of the false prophet… to assemble them for battle on the great day of God the Almighty… And they assembled them at the place that in Hebrew is called Armageddon.”

The bowl judgments are the final, complete outpouring of the wrath of God. No longer partial, no longer restrained — the wrath is finished. The earth-dwellers who received the mark of the beast and worshiped his image are struck with sores, the seas and rivers become blood, the sun scorches, darkness covers the beast’s kingdom, the Euphrates is dried, and the nations are gathered for the last battle. Yet they do not repent; they blaspheme the God of heaven. The seventh bowl brings the cry from the throne: “It is done!” Lightning, thunder, the greatest earthquake, the fall of the cities of the nations, and massive hail complete the scene. These plagues prepare the earth for the return of the King of kings. The judgments are true and just. The blood of the saints and prophets is avenged. Therefore take the warning of the bowls with utmost seriousness. Hold fast to the testimony of Jesus. The wrath of God is finished in these plagues, and the kingdom of the world is becoming the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ.
